Welcome Paying Online Access


Welcome to Alberta's Online Traffic Payment service, which is a joint effort of the Government of Alberta, the Alberta Motor Association and the Alberta Registry Agents Association. This website allows individuals charged  with traffic offences to pay their tickets online.

 

 

 

 
To pay a traffic ticket online, you will require:

  • A Part 3 Violation Ticket (yellow copy, current or overdue). If the ticket is overdue, any late payment charges are added to the original fine amount. If you do not pay the full overdue amount, your motor vehicle services will remain restricted;

  • A valid VISA or Mastercard for payment; and

  • A web browser that has 128-bit encryption capabilities (to ensure the security of your transaction).

A $9 service fee, plus GST, is charged for all transactions. This is the same service fee that is currently charged at registry agent offices.

Maintenance Schedule

The Internet fine system is not available daily from 9:55 pm to 10:20 pm and Sundays from 6:55 am to 12:05 pm for maintenance.
